    This will be implemented immediately in the shop I do repairs in. Great idea!

    We're gonna make a whole set. They'd be really useful with acoustic guitars.

    And- I'm surprised it never hit me before. All the time I spent working on cars we always laid mats over the fenders when the hood was was up for exactly this purpose.

    I have been using some really thick felt like material my wife got at some store to make part of a costume for Halloween for grandson works good.

    I use a piece of scrap leather that I got from Tandy.

    Before the felt I used a piece of thick vinyl used for upholstery,cut to fit but the edges did curl that is a good idea Bones.;)

    Since @Bones posted this, I've been searching my files for this photo. I never bought one, but they were available a number of years ago and I wish I had one. Great for a Telecaster.
